December 2018 was our last post. I guess we have been too busy on Facebook and Instagram keeping y'all updated. We will be better at keeping this blog updated with ongoing events. A lot has happened in 2 years and we are gearing up for a big 2021. So here is a little of what happened the last 2 years.

In 2019 we decided to move onto the farm full time from our house that was a short half mile away. We had to put our AirBnb on hold while we lived in it and our 5th wheel trailer planning the expansion of the farm adding a home among other structures. During this adventure it became apparent we needed to go BIGGER! We had 15 acres and just not enough room for everything we wanted. We spent all summer fixing up the farm and sold it right before fall. The new owners let us stay on the farm while we found our new farm and began the process of moving EVERYTHING! We finally found our dream farm and moved 14 miles away to Farmersville on 25 acres with rolling hills, a farm house with a wrap around porch and 2 beautifully stocked ponds and a HUGE barn overlooking one of the ponds.

By early 2020 we were moved in and started the process of settling in. I don't think I need to say how COVID ruined our 2020 plans of opening the farm. We decided to take it all into perspective and knew we were not the only ones suffering here. We did have a banner year selling Alpacas though, we helped over 10 farms add over 30 Alpacas to their livestock program. We currently have over 50 Alpacas and have over 20 alpacas who are pregnant going into 2021, so we expect another banner year of sales. We also spent the year building the perfect livestock barn while starting plans on converting the back barn overlooking the pond into a wedding event venue.

Yes you heard that right, we are going to open a wedding event venue in 2021. We are so excited about this new farm and all the potential it has for our business. We also plan to open up our AirBnb again in 2021 so we can have guests stay here on the farm and enjoy everything we have.

Let's put 2020 behind us and look forward to a prosperous 2021.
